Last night I had a revelation
Somehow I have to make you pay

I don't believe in soft solutions
No one make a fool of me

I thought about forgiving you, but
I want revenge, I want what's mine
I think it's time to settle scores now

I think this shows a lot of emotion. It seems like you've got (or had, since this is pretty old) some pent up frustrations and some hard feelings for someone.
Have you ever tried free form poetry? I found that when I tried to rhyme, it wouldn't work well for me. When I switched to free form it was... liberating. I should see if I can find any of stuff. Hmm.
Anyway, free form might not be for you, but who knows!
